Founded in 1975, Moraira Sailing Club has become one of the Valencian Community’s most important sporting and leisure centres. Constituted as a non-profit association, it strives to foster water sport-related activities.

Its goal is twofold: the scope and quality of the port services offered and the satisfaction of its members and users.

Location and surroundings of Moraira Sailing Club

Moraira is a little charming town in Alicante that has grown over the last number of years. Despite this, it hasn’t lost its Mediterranean charm. It’s part of the municipality of Teulada, located between Calpe and Jávea.

It has 14,000 inhabitants and, interestingly, 60% are foreigners. With an average annual temperature of 18°C and a strategic location (31 kilometres from Benidorm and 75 kilometres from Alicante), no wonder tourists flock to it in droves.

It stands out for its eight kilometres of coastline with stunning beaches, such as Portet. Not to mention its rich architectural and cultural heritage. Don’t miss out on its castle, the fortress church of Santa Catalina and the watchtower of Cabo de Oro, making this town a great choice for a holiday with all the family without a shadow of doubt.
